Join us for the Opening Reception on Sat. Feb 8th from 2-4pm!

The accepted Modern Fossils are: "Three-Toed Sloth", "Family of Three", and "H2O=LIFE".

In this fascinating exhibition, artists explore the significance of “three” in our world.

Why 3?

A triptych, the rule of thirds, 3-D: it is used in art.

The Christian Trinity, Three Patriarchs in Judaism, Three Baskets in Buddhism: it is important in religion.

3 wishes for the genie, 3 spirits visit Scrooge, the Rule of Three in writing: it appears in literature.

A hat trick in hockey, basketball’s 3-pointer, a baseball triple play: it is celebrated in sports.

Triangles, pyramids, and tripods: it is seen in construction.

Three dimensions humans can perceive, three types of cones in the retina, three quarks in physics: science has discovered threes.
