MFA Gallery invites you to join us

on Saturday June 20th, from 1-7pm,

for the Opening Reception of our Juried Group Show entitled

"Give Us The Finger: Our One In A Billion Project"!

 

The term “BILLION” is now part of our everyday lexicon.

 

There are 8 BILLION people on the planet.

There are 800 BILLIONaires in the United States alone.

 

If you counted for 8 hours every single day,

one number per second,

it would take you over 95 YEARS to reach one BILLION!

 

As artists, we are attempting to visualize

a “BILLION” and all things related to a BILLION.

 

Therefore, this Exhibition will feature work

that is connected to counting and numerics,

including art depicting numbers / digits, mathematics,

quantities, geometries, series, or simply fingers / hands.

 

The Opening Reception will be celebrated

with live music, wine, and

tasty treats by the famous Michael Redmond!

 

We will also have plaster fingers that you can paint,

and then add to our evolving GROUP SCULPTURE!

 

The Exhibition will run from June 20th - Aug 9th 2026.
